| Davenport Green Hall was built in 1617 and was part of the Davenport Estate. The estate was owned by Richard Grantham; who commanded a company in the parliamentary army in the Civil War. In the late 19th Century Sir William Cunliffe-Brooks MP owned the estate and grounds; the Estate was later purchased by the present owners and has now opened its doors as a bespoke, individual estate.
